My Journey to Becoming a Naples, FL Portrait & Personal Branding Photographer

Hello I am Gerry Andersen

Photography has always been part of my life, but my path here wasn’t traditional. Before becoming a full‑time photographer, I spent more than 30 years in education, coaching, and leadership — guiding people to discover their strengths, build confidence, and communicate with clarity. My faith has deeply shaped everything I do behind the camera and the way I work with people — with patience, encouragement, and a genuine desire to help others feel confident and seen.I understand how vulnerable it can feel to be photographed. I know what it’s like to want to look confident, approachable, and professional — without feeling posed or unnatural. My experience in coaching and expression psychology allows me to help clients relax, feel seen, and show up as their most authentic selves. This is why my sessions feel different. They’re not just about taking pictures — they’re about helping you step into the version of yourself you’re ready to share with the world.Thank you for visiting Gerry Andersen Photography. I look forward to helping you show up confidently, professionally, and authentically—in every frame.

Gerry did a great job helping me capture my modeling digitals. He was professional, easy to communicate with, helpful, and understanding. He tailored the job to exactly what I was looking for and did his best to make sure I was happy with the results. He had a printed list of every shot we needed to fulfill the requirements asked of models. He even curated a list of helpful references and agencies for me to look into. Would highly recommend him!--Kayley OpytKayley Opyt
